
The full program for the 2018 First Amendment Symposium is now available by clicking here. The event is Wednesday, March 7 and begins at 10:30 a.m. in the south atrium of the Indiana Statehouse.
Keynote speaker Marisa Kwiatowski, Indianapolis Star investigative reporter, will discuss her team’s efforts in breaking the U.S. Gymnastics/Larry Nassar scandal and why journalism is still needed and valued in our world. The day will also include presentations from IHSPA Student Board members about how journalism has made a difference in their lives and conclude with contest awards for First Amendment graphic design, sports coverage, SPJ/JEA essay writing and Indiana journalist of the year.
