Urban Media Project hosting creation meeting, accepting paid intern applications

Young people in Central Indiana have something to say and the Urban Media Project is giving them the chance to take the lead and be innovative media creators and mentors.

If you are or know of a middle, high school or college student who has a passion for creating videos, news and feature stories, poems, songs, graphic arts or another form of media, bring your latest creation to the Urban Media Creators meeting on June 15 to share with your peers and brainstorm ideas, events and coverage for the future.

What: First UMP Media Creators meeting

When: Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 3–5 p.m.

Where: The Legacy Center at 727 N. Oriental St., Indianapolis, 46201

In addition to attending the meeting, you can be involved in building a one-of-a-kind organization where you and your peers are in the driver’s seat—planning media events and trips to interview and hang with people you want to talk to at places you’ve always wanted to see—by being an intern with the Urban Media Project.

Dani’s Dreams looks forward to working with you, community organizations and businesses to make a unique and engaging experience and create media that matters.

If you would like to help make this possible either through being a part of Media Creators, Media Mentors or just volunteering, contact Dani’s Dreams President and CEO Donna Griffin by calling 317-640-4430 or emailing dgriffins96@gmail.com.
