IHSPA is sponsoring a sports contest for first semester sports coverage again this year. Requirements are simple.
Each student who enters must submit three entries (in any combination of sports photos, sports columns or sports stories—print, video, or a Twitter strand of a sports event) that have been published in the student newspaper or on the school’s student news website from the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year through January 31, 2016.

Deadline for the Mid-Year Sports Contest is Sunday, January 31, 2016.
Winners will be announced at the First Amendment Symposium, March 15, 2016. Winners will have the opportunity to attend a special professional or college sports event later in the semester.
