Jim Streisel of Carmel High School, Carmel, Ind., is the 2013 Dow Jones News Fund National High School Journalism Teacher of the Year. He advises the award-winning HiLite and Acumen newsmagazines, along with www.hilite.org. He was a 2012 DJNF Distinguished Adviser and also received a Pioneer Award from the National Scholastic Press Association at the National High School Journalism Convention in San Antonio.
